Destroy the murder of

 
Cooper, 25, who is on trial at the High Court in Auckland, nu skin product has argued through his lawyer that acted in self-defence when he killed Mr Mills, whose headless skeleton was found in Mt Wellington in September 2011
 
The Crown says he was killed in July 2008.
 
Lawyer Warren Cathcart told jurors that Cooper knew Mr Mills' skull would show how he died.
 
To cover himself, Cooper buried him in his Mt Wellington backyard, created a Bebo account in Mr Mills' name to tell friends and family he was still alive, nuskin group and used his bank account.
 
Then, a year later, when he knew the body would have decomposed, Cooper exhumed the body and then crushed the skull with a mallet, Mr Cathcart said.
 
"If this is an accident, why would you destroy the one piece of evidence that's going to lead to your acquittal," he told jurors on Monday.
 
"You only take that mallet in your hand and crush the skull if you know that it holds the key to your conviction to murder nu skin hong kong."
 
Mr Cathcart said Cooper killed Mr Mills because he was upset about money owed to him.
 
He said Cooper struck multiple blows against Mr Mills' head in anger, and then killed him with an elbow slam to the temple.
 
"That was done with a clear intent to render the slightly built Mr Mills unconscious," he said.
 
He added that if it was an accident, Mills would have expressed regret in his interview with police IP camera manufacturer, but there was not a trace of remorse.
 
Cooper's lawyer Mina Wharepouri will begin his closing address later on Monday.
